Asian Games 2026: India Win Bronze in Mixed Team Skeet

India’s Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal won the bronze medal in the mixed team skeet event at the 2026 Asian Games in Nagoya on Thursday.

The Indian pair produced a strong performance in the competition and finished third after six series. India scored 44 points, putting them level with South Korea at that stage of the event.

However, South Korea secured the silver medal based on its higher qualification ranking. South Korea went on to finish with 51 points after seven series, while China claimed the gold medal with a total of 52 points.

India’s 44-point performance was enough to secure the bronze medal. Qatar finished fourth with 18 points after three series.

The result adds another medal to India’s shooting campaign at the Asian Games. Shooting has been an important sport for India at major international competitions, with Indian athletes regularly competing for medals across different events.

China dominated the final standings with 52 points, narrowly finishing ahead of South Korea. India remained in medal position despite being level on points with South Korea after six series.
