In a coordinated operation, the Bihar Police Special Task Force (STF) and Begusarai police successfully apprehended seven notorious gangsters, including the infamous Murari Singh. The criminals had allegedly accepted contracts for the murders of two individuals and were planning a jewelry shop robbery. The police confiscated five country-made pistols, two magazines, 12 live cartridges, 3.5 kg of marijuana, and an SUV from the arrested suspects.
Murari Singh and his accomplices, identified as Pankaj Kumar, Dilkhush Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Avinash Kumar, Basant Kumar, and Chandan, were known for their involvement in various criminal activities, including murder, loot, dacoity, and extortion.
The gangsters, who had formed connections during their time in jail, were reportedly plotting the crimes while serving sentences. The police foiled their plans by arresting them in Pangachi village under the Mufassil police station.
