BJP Leader Highlights Youth Power for India’s Future
BJP national president Nitin Nabin has called on young people to play an active role in building India’s future. Speaking at a youth interaction programme at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University in Meerut on September 21, Nabin said young people should use their skills and energy in a positive direction and contribute to nation-building.
Nabin linked his message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047. He said the country’s young population has an important role in achieving this goal and encouraged young people to focus on their education, careers and responsibilities rather than looking for shortcuts.
The BJP leader also urged young people to focus on real-life achievements instead of becoming overly dependent on social media trends. He used the phrase “live real, not reels” while asking students to set clear goals and work towards them with discipline, patience and consistency.
Nabin also spoke about staying away from drugs and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He encouraged young people to follow practices such as yoga and meditation and to remain aware of environmental issues. He said youth should channel their energy towards constructive activities and develop the patience needed to achieve long-term goals.
He also highlighted the importance of choosing careers and professions that contribute to society. Whether young people become doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs or professionals in other fields, he said their work can contribute to the country’s development.
During his Meerut visit, Nabin paid floral tributes at the Indian National Army Martyrs Memorial and Park. He also addressed a youth conference and a Shakti Kendra meeting before holding discussions with BJP leaders, elected representatives and party workers from western Uttar Pradesh.
Nabin’s two-day Uttar Pradesh visit is also focused on organisational preparations ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. On September 22, his schedule includes an interaction with prominent citizens in Meerut, followed by a visit to the historic Augharnath Temple. He is then scheduled to travel to Saharanpur for meetings with party leaders and organisational office-bearers.
The youth outreach is part of Nabin’s wider visit to western Uttar Pradesh, where the BJP is holding organisational meetings and preparing its local structure ahead of the next Assembly election. His message in Meerut focused on youth participation, discipline, education and their contribution to the country’s development.
