BRS and Congress Clash Over Alleged Insults

Two members of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) were arrested after they allegedly made remarks against Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. The arrests led to protests by BRS supporters and increased political tension between the BRS and the ruling Congress party in Telangana.

BRS leaders demanded an apology from Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and strongly objected to the action taken against their party members. They said the arrests were unnecessary and accused the Congress government of targeting opposition leaders and supporters.
