KSRTC to Enhance Services with 1,000 Additional Buses for Christmas

In preparation for the Christmas festival, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) plans to deploy an additional 1,000 buses starting from December 22. These special buses will connect Kempegowda Bus Station to various destinations, facilitating travel for the festive season. The routes will cover popular locations such as Dharmasthala, Mangaluru, Hubballi, Belagavi, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Chennai, and more.

KSRTC will also operate special buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station, serving destinations like Mysuru, Hunsur, Virajpet, and Madikeri. The corporation is offering discounts to encourage group bookings, providing a 5% discount for four or more passengers booking a single ticket. Additionally, a 10% discount will be offered on the return journey ticket if both onward and return tickets are booked simultaneously. These measures aim to accommodate the increased travel demand during the Christmas season.
