Security Measures Tightened for Chief Minister’s Vijayawada Visit

Ahead of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s scheduled visit to Vijayawada on March 12, Police Commissioner Kranthi Rana Tata personally inspected security arrangements in Krishna Lanka and surrounding areas. Accompanied by the Chief Minister’s program coordinator, Talasila Raghuram, they reviewed security protocols at Ranigarithota, emphasizing traffic diversions and enhanced security along the river bund.

With several projects slated for the inauguration, the Commissioner directed officers to enforce traffic diversions, including the closure of Kanakadurga Varadhi and rerouting of heavy vehicles from Eluru to Hyderabad and Chennai. These proactive measures aim to ensure the smooth conduct of the Chief Minister’s visit while maintaining public safety and traffic flow.
