TN advocate attacked by unknown contract killer barely survived

In the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, an advocate named Joseph Raja Jegan was attacked on Tuesday by two unidentified assailants suspected to be contract killers. The attack occurred when Jegan opened the door of his office at 8.45 a.m.

One attacker managed to strike him with a machete, but Jegan quickly regained composure and overpowered one of the assailants, causing the other to flee the scene.

Hearing the commotion, neighbors rushed to his aid and apprehended the attacker, who was subsequently handed over to the police. The Tirunelveli police have not yet disclosed the identity of the assailant, as he is currently being questioned.
